Punjab University announced the results of various examinations

Lahore: The Punjab University (PU) Examination Department on Tuesday announced the results of various examinations.
These exams include BSc Home Economics, 2nd Year, Annual Examination 2010, BSc Home Economics, 3rd Year, Annual Examination 2010, BCom (IT), Semester System, Session 2005-2007, BCom (IT), Semester System, Session 2007-2009, BCom (IT), Semester System, Session 2006-2008, and BCom (IT), Semester System, Session 2004-2006. Detailed results are available at PU website www.pu.edu.pk. Meanwhile, the PU has awarded PhD degrees to three students in the subjects of Molecular Biology. Uzma Saeed d/o Hafiz Muhammad Saeed has been awarded a PhD degree in the subject of Molecular Biology after the approval of her research thesis titled “Identification and Characterization of Drought Tolerant Genes in Cotton by Gene Homology.”
She completed her thesis under the supervision of Prof Dr Tayyab Husnain of PU’s National Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology.
Ali Muhammad s/o Dost Muhammad has been awarded a PhD degree in the subject of Molecular Biology after the approval of his research thesis titled “Search for a New Deafness Locus/Gene in Sindhi Inbred Families.” He completed his thesis under the supervision of Prof Dr Sheikh Riazuddin of PU National Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology while his Co-Supervisor was Prof Dr Shaheen N. Khan of National Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology.
Zawar Hussain s/o Munir Hussain has been awarded a PhD degree in the subject of Molecular Biology after the approval of his research thesis titled “The Genetic Basis of Usher Syndrome.” He completed his thesis under the supervision of Dr Zubair M Ahmad of National Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology while his Co-Supervisor was Prof Dr Sheikh Riazuddin.
