Revised schools, colleges timings for 2010-11
Karachi: The Sindh Education and Literacy Department has revised the schools and colleges timings in the province for the year 2010-11 in order to cover up time loss due to floods, with immediate effect. According to details, single shift schools (primary) will work from Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 8am to 3pm while on Friday timings will be from 8am to 12 noon. Double shift schools (primary): First shift will work from Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 8am to 12:30pm while on Friday from 8am to 10:30am. Second shift will work from Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 12:45am to 4:45pm while on Friday timings will be from 10:45am to 12:45pm. Secondary schools single shift will work from Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 8am to 3pm while on Friday from 8am to 12 noon. Double shift schools, first shift from Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 7:45am to 12:45pm and on Friday from 7:45am to 10am. Second shift from Monday to Thursday and Saturday will work from 1pm to 5pm while on Friday 10:15am to 12:15pm. Colleges (Science, Arts and Commerce) from Monday to Thursday and Saturday (normal shift) from 8:30am to 2:30pm and on Friday from 8:30am to 12 noon. Evening shift (Arts and Commerce) from Monday to Thursday and Saturday (normal shift) from 4:00pm to 9pm and on Friday from 2:30pm to 6:30pm. Daily times
